Russell has been key in its transformation of Boots into a multichannel retailer and the move away from seeing the online channel as 'just another shop'. Russell defined the IT strategy and subsequently led the change program across the business and IT teams including offering customers order and collect across 2,500 store locations. In doing so, he has experienced many of the technology and business challenges faced by most on this journey.
