Josh Goldman focuses on investments in consumer internet services across a variety of stages, particularly in the areas of e-commerce, search, travel, and advertising technologies. He currently holds board seats or observer roles at Sojern, NearbyNow, Retrevo, and Sonoa Systems.
Josh brings over 20 years of operational experience as a repeat entrepreneur, CEO, board member and investor in high-growth technology companies, having generated over $2.6 billion in M&A exit values in his career and participating in two highly successful technology IPOs. Josh was President and CEO of mySimon, a leading comparison shopping service that was sold in 2000 for $700 million, later serving as Division President of CNet. He's served as board member at Ask.com for four years leading to its $1.9 billion sale to IAC, and as angel investor and Board member in PremierGuide, acquired by Local.com.
Previously, Josh has also been CEO of Akimbo, and a board member at Synaptics for its successful IPO. Earlier in his career Josh held executive roles at Apple, Phoenix Technology, and USWeb. Josh received a B.Sc. (honors) in Computer Science from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
