Please summarise the content of your session/s (in your
own words):
The presentation will be a case study highlighting the importance
of search (still) for online retailers and some of the ways Zazzle
has leveraged this channel.
What can attendees expect to take away from your session/s?
Hopefully there are some specific and actionable
takeaways that attendees can digest and act upon immediately to see
impact on their businesses.
The hottest thing in online retailing right now is:
Mobile. Can't turn anywhere without someone talking about the
latest gadget and apps that are really opening the door to
commerce. This medium probably isn't relevant for everyone today,
but will be soon.
Some of the best examples of online retail best practice
are:
Best practices and Amazon are almost interchangeable … what they
have done with recommendations, gold-box, 1-click and Prime are
great examples of e-commerce innovation. But they don't do
everything right all the time, so it is definitely good to see what
others out there are doing. Free-ship both ways, private sales,
group-buying, etc. are some retail trends that are worth
watching.
